Mabuhay and welcome to IllustrationPinoy! This is a space on the web designed for Filipino illustrators by Filipino illustrators. We can post our events, announcements, inspirations, and of course – our illustrations.
I had it called IlloPilipino, but then it turned out that “ilo” is actually “orphan” and “washing butts” in the Visayan dialect. So IloPilipino would be a great name for a Pinoy adoption service (ilo=orphan) or a midwife service (ilo=washing butts)… but not entirely suitable for illustration.
When you post images, please keep them sized within 500pixels in width and not more than 150kb. Should you have no place to host images that you’d like to put on IllustrationPinoy, I recommend http://www.allyoucanupload.com/
That being said, if you have any questions, please write them in the comments for this post. Salamat po!
